We strongly believe that the Alaskan Malamute should be doing what it was bred to do - work. Whether it be in a team situation racing, or just doing excursions. Or from weight pulling to pack walking. Therefore we strive to look for, and select for dual purpose Alaskan Malamutes when making our selections for breeding. In this way we are hoping to get some perspective, and look at the bigger picture - rather than just looking for pretty dogs that can win some ribbons. We want the dogs that can win the ribbons AND do the hard slog out on the trail!!

 

All our dogs are accomplished working dogs in some form. Some are great team dogs in harness, others have excelled in weight pulling. And some just love to do a pack walk along-side us.

 

We prefer to gain our dogs' working dog titles through excursions, and just plain having fun with them. Although we do race, and successfully too.
